Salus Aviation Appoints Shane Brook as Regional Account Manager – North Island, NZ

Philipp Antwerpen, Executive General Manager MRO at Salus Aviation, is pleased to announce the appointment of Shane Brook as the new Regional Account Manager for the North Island of New Zealand.

Shane is a licensed Aircraft Engineer with more than 17 years of experience working with both helicopters and fixed-wing aircraft. His career includes roles such as Engineer, Foreman, and, most recently, Maintenance Manager, where he led helicopter maintenance operations and managed projects for both domestic and international clients. Shane’s extensive experience spans a range of aircraft and engine types, including Kawasaki, Airbus, Bell, MD, Arriel, Rolls-Royce, Saffran and Intermountain products, as well as Schweizer, Lycoming, Continental, Cessna, Piper, Diamond, Hartzell, and McCauley products.

Commencing at the beginning of April, 2025 as Regional Account Manager for the North Island, Shane will focus on building and nurturing relationships with operators and customers across the region. With Salus Aviation’s robust capabilities in both helicopter and fixed-wing divisions, Shane will serve as the key liaison between the company’s workshops and customers for MRO requirements.

Antwerpen expressed his enthusiasm for Shane’s appointment, stating,

“Shane’s extensive experience will be instrumental in strengthening the connection between our workshops and our customers in the North Island. His main responsibilities will include securing new business, building relationships with operators, supporting the Aircraft Sales and Leasing team, and collaborating closely with customers to develop future maintenance plans. We are confident that Shane’s strategic vision and expertise will play a key role in driving our business growth and deepening customer relationships across the region.”
